About Us
Cocobaby Collection is a Utah based Female-Owned company. The company is named after what our founder was fondly called by her father growing up, Cocobaby. The birth of the company was inspired by a desire for expression through fashion & design.
The company’s founder, Oyinkan Prater, was born and raised in Nigeria, but moved to the US at the age of 18 to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in Wichita, Kansas. She moved to Salt Lake City, where she’s building her family and works as a Private Wealth Management Senior Analyst at one of the world’s leading investment banks.
Growing up in Nigeria meant growing up in color. Nigeria has an incredibly rich heritage and culture. The style and fashion predominantly incorporates an abundance of vibrant colors and prints, as well as creative designs. It’s hard not to be inspired. Our designs range in style from simple to sophisticated, always leaving you feeling comfortable and confident.
